By day, I work as a private senior support person and house cleaner in my community. By night, and early morning, and in between chores, you will find me in the garden, tending to our animals, or working alongside my husband as we slowly transform our 1970s fixer-upper into a cozy, modern homestead.

My journey into working from home began back in 2009 when my youngest was born. I left my nerve-rattling call center job to be home with my kids and figure out a different way of living. Over the years, I have worn a lot of hats, freelancing in website design, social media, and content creation, always finding ways to build a life that gave me more time at home.

These days, that same drive has shifted into something a little closer to the heart.

Now I am focused on creating a life rooted in simplicity, self-sufficiency, and home. From growing our own food and preserving the harvest to adding cozy farmhouse touches inside our home, this little acre is where we are building the life we have always dreamed of, one project, one season, and one lesson at a time.

Around here, you will find practical gardening tips, canning and food preservation guides, and inspiration for creating a warm, welcoming home. I share what is working, what I am learning, and all the in-between moments, the muddy boots, the early mornings, and the joy of collecting fresh eggs at the end of the day.

My goal is simple. To create a space that encourages you to slow down, get your hands dirty, and build a life that feels good from the inside out.
